Why did CHS and Principal Aaron cancel the orientation for 8th Graders next week?

I'm honestly struggling to understand why this is such a big deal.

That would have been weird in a town with junior high schools and a senior high school.

I went to a grades 6-8 Junior High in the late 1960s. Just sayin' ..

Best of both worlds: 5-8 middle school until the district switched it to a 7-9 junior high starting when we were in ninth grade. So -- sultans of the halls and lunchroom for a second straight year.

It's been a charmed life.
