1. It’s relevant to the writer’s level of comprehension.

2. When the preoccupations are yours and the local issue being discussed is school board operations. (There may be a line connecting those operations and board member Winkfield’s publicly expressed concern about the national “parents’ rights” movement, but neither you nor the National Review article you posted drew it.)


I started this thread to discuss our local school board.  It's not in the politics section
