Here's the thing. When they beat someone to death, they'd prefer that there be no video evidence.

You have to give to the Police Department on this one. They put the officers on Paid Administrative Leave. That'll show 'em!

If you look and act innocent, that's "probable cause" to arrest you. Bizarro World here we are...

Federal Court: The Police Can Stop and Search You for Behaving Innocently

This is just some crazy siht. What the hell is going on in this country?

This article contains reactions from online police forums. Some disturbing stuff here.

all the police stories are all part and parcel of this thread... Ferguson, NYC, Cleveland, Denver

Be sure your cellphones and tablets have a password lock on them. If by some chance you record something like this, why make it easy for a rogue cop to erase it? But the bystander who took the video was smart to have his tablet upload videos to the cloud immediately.

Us Police Kill More People in March than Uk Police Killed in 100 Years.

A new report by ThinkProgress.com unearthed disturbing figures when it came to the number of police-related deaths that occurred in America in the month of March alone.

Just last month, in the 31 days of March, police in the United States killed more people than the UK did in the entire 20th century. In fact, it was twice as many; police in the UK only killed 52 people during that 100 year period.

According to the report by ThinkProgess, in March alone, 111 people died during police encounters — 36 more than the previous month.

This high number in March increased the average for police killings from every 8.5 hours, to nearly 1 police killing every 6.5 hours in the US.

China, whose population is 4 and 1/2 times the size of the United States, recorded 12 killings by law enforcement officers in 2014.

On average, US police kill people at a rate 70 times higher than any of the other first world countries as they “protect and serve” the American citizens.

Can this be true?

I think it depends upon what you count. According to this article http://www.theguardian.com/uk/2010/dec/03/deaths-police-custody-officers-convicted, the answer is no, it's inaccurate. In any event , the answer is always too many people killed.

You really know things are out of hand when a police officer, is allowed to walk around with a loaded gun AFTER shooting his ex-wife, while surrounded by cops, and gets to FIRE a few more shots, for good measure, in case she was still alive, and the cops around him do nothing to stop him. And here in NJ!

"LeMieux said a car chase through Asbury Park came to an end shortly before 11:30 a.m. when Tamara Seidle crashed her 2012 black Volkswagen Jetta on Sewall Avenue. Following close behind was Phillip Seidle, who immediately exited his vehicle once his ex-wife crashed and fired several shots into her passenger's side door. He was off-duty at the time.

He then paced around the vehicle, holding his .40-caliber Glock service weapon to his head, LeMieux said. Police were able to secure the couple's daughter before Phillip Seidle fired off more shots through the front windshield of Tamara Seidle's car.

A 30-minute standoff finally came to an end around noon, after Phillip Seidle surrendered to authorities."

I guess they were not afraid for their lives, but it may have cost his ex-wife hers since she may have still been alive. I guess we will never know.

The solution to improving the way policing is done currently, is for the good cops to point out the bad apples, but once you see what happens to these good cops, when they do what they should be doing, you realize why not many if any come forward. It is a sad state of affairs. And it does not seem as if anything will change anytime soon.

Can this be true?

Not as bad as described but its bad:

There were 55 fatal police shootings in 24 years in England and Wales.

There were 59 fatal police shootings in the first 24 days of 2015 in the US.

To see comparisons of US to other countries see the following story:
