Voted from the Park Wood this eve.  Fingers crossed for Pete.

Whether Pete wins the Reader's Choice or not, I really really hope that Pete Genovese walks into the Parkwood today to announce to our Pete that he is the winner. Go Parkwood!

Me too !  I am nervous and excited... I am going there in an hour for lunch to show my support and wait for Pete Genovese to walk through the door.

Whether Pete Genovese walked through the door or not... The Parkwood Diner is the winner in my book!  I watched the live stream from nj.com and saw when they went into the winning diner.  If it had been the Parkwood I really know I would have got up and yelled "here they come" LOL  

"The Route 23 diner edged Tops Diner in East Newark and the Park Wood Diner in Maplewood for top honors."

So he gets to claim Top 3 in all of NJ.   Works for me.

I have some questions though ~ Why was there a vote for the top 10 this past week, if Pete Genovese was strictly going on what he himself liked?  Where did the votes count in all of this?  Did he make the votes public knowledge?

There was a separate award for readers choice.  That is what the votes determined.

Top three out of the whole state is still something to be proud of. Pete and the Park Wood are awesome and deserve the recognition.

Where can you see the numbers for Reader's choice? Was at Parkwood other day and Pete said he hadn't seen them.

I don't believe the numbers were announced but the ranking, at least of the top three diners, was.
