Just FYI, though I’m sure it was a challenging decision to make, the owners (husband and wife) are no longer local, are now 20 years older than when Tito’s came to be and now have grandchildren. They are in a very different place in their lives. And back in the day, there weren’t Chipotle’s and Bubbakoos and Surf Taco all over NJ. (Though of all of those, Tito’s is by far my favorite, for their salsa, their really good chips, the blackened chicken and the Hang Ten Shrimp!)
Ordered takeout tonight for a last hurrah, and my wife, who picked up the food, said the place was packed. Glad they’re going out with a bang.
