Does anyone actually care about the pro bowl anymore?  I haven't watched it in maybe 20 years.

zero interest

However, it has always bothered me that Pro Bowl selections are announced before the season is over.

The eagles have not yet clinched the division

may not be that bad for the Giants. Eagles will almost certainly have nothing to play for. Why should they start any player who's dealing with any kind of nagging injury (e.g., Jalen Hurts)

if they win this week or next, they not only clinch the division, they clinch the #1 seed by virtue of beating Minnesota.

I agree no one cares about Pro Bowl the game, but Pro Bowl the resume entry is not insignificant, and I for one believe Andrew Thomas should've earned the nod.

yes-if dallas wins it could get interesting.  I cant believe im actually rooting for dallas!  I would love it to come down to the final game with the giants ( unlikely)

I'm actually more likely to watch it now it's going to be a flag football game instead of barely-played regular football. Could be more fun and competitive.

Adam Gase screwed us out of Trevor Lawrence.  Another in a long line self anointed “offensive geniuses”.  And Dave Gettlemen just plain screwed us.

They look like s#%t

It’s early in the game- but…. they suck

Gettlemen was a complete disaster.

we've gone from the Eagles not likely having anything to play for in week 18, to the possibility that the Giants will have nothing to play for in that game.

If the Giants win on Sunday against the Colts, they are in the playoffs.  They control their own destiny.  If they can't beat the Colts, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

They will seize the moment. I will be there. It will be glorious.

nah. If you have never lived there you can't know the special awfulness of Clark.

indeed. and if they get Minnesota in the first round, we might actually have reason to believe in a postseason win. And who thought the Eagles and not the Giants would still be playing for something next week?

Not me.

A: Eagles fans who appreciate how valuable Jalen Hurts and Lane Johnson had been.

sure. When I posted that, I didn't know that neither of those guys would play against NO. But if it was my team, I'm sure I would have been expecting the worst too.

a couple of the posts about DJ from November haven't held up well.

I don't see how they don't sign him. I thought they were crazy still calling running plays for him in the 4th quarter when the game was pretty much over with.

I don't think they should play Jones, Barkley, Williams, Lawrence, Ojulari, or anyone who's got a lingering injury next week.

On behalf of Jets Nation, I want to wish you all heartfelt congratulations!

Totally agree about the 4th quarter and Jones. They should have been feeding the ball to Barkley. Jones was exposed on several of the runs and could have been injured easily.

That said, it was probably Jones's best game as a Giant.  I could see signing him to a short-term deal (2 years) and drafting another QB. It's going to depend on the free-agent market for QBs.  Someone may be crazy enought to pay Jones a lot more than the Giants are willing to pay.

I think Jones will look for and get a long term deal. If the Jets had him, Daboll and any other punter they would probably be at least 12-4.
