Unless you have a convection oven. Then those fish would be in a furnace.
I guess if the boiler only gets to 180 the fish would be poached.
Anyway we turned on our boiler over the weekend. If it was me alone, I would've been fine. But the small child was not having it.
I have my elderly grandmother visiting this weekend so am likely to drop out at that point ... we'll see I reinstalled batteries in my thermostat, which were dead so I'm one step closer hehe
If it drops below 70 ol' Clanky gets fired up. I cant take the cold.
FWIW, I used aircon all thru the house today, first time this 'summer'. (It's only mid-Spring.) High 80 to 90 degrees F, and sticky. With mosquitoes, already.
I still haven't turned on the heat or even tested it for that matter (i know not good...thermostat needs new batteries..) maybe tomorrow night since it is supposed to be 31F!?
Looking like we might be out as if tonight - wearing a sweater and sitting under a blanket but I'm cold. (Furnace was tested/cleaned but otherwise hasn't been on for warmth

Oh yeah just rub it in 60F here, i think tonight the heat will have to go on at my place since 60F is pretty much the bottom end of my comfort level..
I was walking earlier this evening and it was quite cold. Glad to come back home
Not sure if anyone else is playing, but im out as of this minute hehe. Luckily the boiler seems to have fired up no issues and i can hear and smell the radiators..
We finally caved and turned on the heat...55 inside this morning. I wanted to try to make it to 11/1 just for kicks but I was overruled
We're out (not that we were ever really "in") - too cold last night & this morning.

I can do 60°, unless I'm justsitting around. Then it's too cold.

66° at home and awake, 62° otherwise. Once in a while I get chilly and inch it up a couple of degrees. I hate when it's too warm;I can't breathe right.
We turned on the heat a week ago when things in CT got too cold. But I really hate the first few days of the heating season. Asthma and stuffed nose up the wazoo.
Who’s planning to hold out for November 1st this year? High of 58, low of 43 tomorrow. I really want to wait to turn on the heat!

Justmelaura would be proud.
I may have to tap out tonight. It was dang chilly in the house this morning.
What I may do is set it up to kick on at about 4 for a couple of hours.
Where do we set our temperatures? I just put mine at 64 last night. I like to keep it the same at all times. Will see if this is too low for me.
