The 4:09 train left ontime and has been running almost normally.

Per NJT website as of 4:29 -

Trains are subject to 30-45 minute delays in/out of NY due to an earlier Amtrak power problem.Cross-honoring is in effect with PATH out of Newark, NY (33rd Street) and Hoboken, with NJT bus and private carriers out of PABT, and with NY waterways to Hoboken from Pier 11 and the World Financial Center.

I hope Obama reads the letter Christie and Cuomo sent earlier this week!

Looking at Departure Vision (not that I trust it in any strict sense) it looks like the M&E trains aren't bad with their delays, only a few minutes behind. The NEC trains seem to be the hardest hit. Even then they may be clearing up.

Dover bound train delayed. Had to jump on Summit train and hoping to take a taxi home to Madison. And I still have to pick up both kids before 6pm. I'm so frustrated right now I could cry.

Anyone with fresh info? I'm debating going home via Hoboken to avoid a potential crapstorm at penn.

Our conductor said trains out of Hoboken are ok. But I'm doubtful.I'd rather take my chances trying to taxi home from Summit rather than Newark.

yeah I'm doing Hoboken. I've commuted long enough to know when in doubt, assume NJT will fail.

Looks like trains are leaving within 10 minutes of normal schedule (based off Departure Vision). So it may not be worth bothering with alternate routes.
