we're fairly open as to area I think. It needs to be safe and fairly near an Underground station.
I loved staying at the Basil Street Hotel in Knightsbridge (located behind Harrods). Very centrally located, near all shopping and the Underground.

I'm traveling to London next month and need some recommendations for a hotel I'll be by myself fora few days before meeting my son and since I seriously cannot read a map I'll need a good concereige to give me step by step directions nothing to expensive I'm older so it doesn't have to be hip.
