Help I need to get rid of my ice packs!

I know this post is old, but I would love to take some Nordic Ice ice packs off of anyone's hands if you have some to spare!

I have many of the flat Nordic packs. How many do you want?

Anyone that wants to get rid of them I can use them.
Thanks

They may not be what you need but our Blue Apron deliveries always use several recyclable ice packs. There is a box of them out with our recycling. PM me if you want me to save them for you.

I just pitched a bunch, too, but I'll save them next time. Hadn't thought about school nurses. George, still no garlic?

Please come to the store. I have a couple hundred of the ice packs in my photo above. I or my staff will carry them out and load them into your car for you.

Thank you,

Per Blue Apron
the ice packs are recyclable. The gel inside is water soluble, just cut open and flush down the drain. The plastic carrier can go in the plastic bag recycle bin.

Is the UPS store still accepting Nordic Ice packs?

We had tons of Blue Apron too. I know they have a recycling service but I think you have to accumulate 5+ boxes before pick up. That's a lot of time and accumulation for me. Don't know how environmentally sound it is, but I've been puncturing the bags, draining them into shredded paper / trash. I rinse out the bags and toss them into recycle. Now that I know @jgberkeley will take them, I will save to drop off.

As for foam, Rocket Ship takes it. I had a huge bag of it and they happily took it off my hands.

I cant help but I actually also have a ton of these (BlueApron, anyone?). Will be happy to donate somewhere where they'd be useful.

I have tried a half dozen of these services, my current favorite is https://www.sunbasket.com/. The meals are good, the food is organic and they have the most recycle friendly packaging. Their ice packs are water and 2% cotton, you just cut them open and put it in the trash, recycle the plastic. The liner is also recyclable. These meals have changed my life, I know that sounds silly but it is true. I cook at home more now than I ever have and now I am venturing out and trying stuff on my own. The meals have taught me how to make quick simple sauces and various ways to cook fish and meat.
