My 98 yo Mother-in-Law has about 2000 slides in carousels that we wanted to whittle down to 150 or so to be digitalized. When I cranked up the unused (since 1985) projector, it worked for 10 minutes before croaking. Repairing ($219) is clearly not cost effective! If you have a projector that I might borrow, I would be very grateful if I could use it a couple of evenings to show her the slides, reminisce, and choose a few to keep.

Any suggestions welcomed.
