Carpet vs. Hardwood in Bedrooms
They are moving all the furniture in now. I'm beginning to wonder if we will just live with the horrible carpeting for now, ignoring entirely the fact that the pink in the master goes with nothing we own. I don't think I'll be ready for awhile to undergo another massive project. If we had started lining up the flooring project a month or more ago, we could probably have coordinated it with the move, but I was so unsure for so long that we were actually going to get the mortgage that I couldn't bring myself to commit to something like hardwood flooring! So, we'll do it the hard way. Not ideal, but we'll get there eventually.

It'll all work out - it always does. We're trying to decide about moving out or re-signing our lease. I just don't have energy for a move, let alone the search. Think we're stuck here. Eh. I have slick non-frizzy hair!
You know, that actually should be a consideration. The poor cats find moving so threatening and challenging, and it might be months before Niki stops scooting under furniture every time there's a knock on the door. Maybe I really should let them recover for awhile.
(... and, to be honest, the idea of changing our plans again makes me want to cry.)
