I can't see how foul play was not involved. Maybe not a homicide but someone was trying to hide something.

I also expected it to turn out to be homicide, particularly since she is from Newark and no car was found. Quite mysterious how she got there and how she died. Poor young woman, and tragic for her family.
That's what I was thinking.
I thought with the new posts that there had been more developments/findings. Nothing, huh?
I can't believe there was never any follow-up in the news about this.
There was follow up - she was identified . I thought a suspect ( her boyfriend) was arrested.
Her name was Deja Rodriguez, age 24. She was reported missing on Feb 16 and was last seen in Newark on SO Ave and S 10th St.You can google her and read more.
I heard somewhere that she ODd with her friends, and they took her body to the res because they panicked
Ok, that makes more sense. I had just read that she was identified, and that police said she wasn't murdered.
Link to story please? Nothing comes up since April when I Google it.

If true this is horrible to hear. Had they not panicked and sought help for her she may have lived

I guess this answers conandrobs question about whether the involvement of homicide detectives indicates that a murder was committed. She was so adamant.
