Full-time Nanny needed in Summit, NJ for B3, G1 and a baby on the way 

Pay: $28-30/hr+ DOE

Hours: M-F 8-6

Start Date: 6/13/24

Responsibilities include: all daily care tasks related to the children, developmental milestone progression, transportation to/from school and activities, meal/snack preparation, light housekeeping pertaining to the children (tidying toys, dishes, laundry, etc), maintaining and evolving schedule as children grow, outdoor time, and organizing playdates/activities.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-6pm. B3 is in a school and camp program M-F 8:30-11:40/12.

Household Notes: Family car is provided for transporting children. Mom primarily works from home. Family has a friendly Boxer. Baby is due in Sept, Mom will be on maternity leave until March 2025. Family travels to Cape Cod and the Hamptons, it would be a bonus if the nanny would travel with them on occasion.

Ideal candidate: the ideal candidate is warm, kind, detail-oriented, professional, punctual, neat, proactive, and loving yet firm. They are well-versed in developmental milestones, and have experience with toddlers/infants simultaneously. Candidate is a strong communicator, can work as a team with Mom while she is on maternity leave, and is a confident self-starter within the home. Family would love a long-term commitment, for their nanny to grow with the family for years to come.

Compensation: family is offering an hourly salary commensurate with the candidate’s experience between $28-30/hr. A raise will be discussed when the nanny is also responsible for the baby. Position includes industry standard benefits (2 weeks vacation, 5 sick days, and federal holidays off).

Requirements:

3+ years of infant/toddler experience

Eligible to work in the US

Reliable transportation

Clean driving record and criminal background

Fluent English

CPR/First Aid Certified

Flu, Covid, & TDAP Vaccinations

Pet-Friendly (Large Dog)
