Water main work causing issues with my service
Just keep flushing the lines but do it through the bathtub spout or outside hose faucets so as not to clog the screens on the faucet aerators with debris.

There have been crews cleaning water main on my block and surrounding area for a couple of months ... they have connected me to a temporary on the ground pipe and yesterday my water was out over 12 hours until technicians came at 1 am to fix it ... now all my taps are constantly spitting water and air and even shooting out what looks like greenish metal or debris ... is this normal during a temporary connection? is the debris coming from my pipes banging and shaking off buildup ? grrr this is just such a pain...
