Uber Question- A Stop ok?

planning to take Uber to the train on Friday. Was thinking of ordering to house, picking up husband at work ( on way but not directly) and then train. Is this ok? Any policy against this or fees I should know about?

I didn't see anything wrong with it when I drove. I don't think there's anything in the rules about it, either. The driver might consider each leg of the trip a separate ride but that would just be annoying (to me anyway). The time spent waiting at each stop is going to accrue charges, that's all, I think. People ask to stop by a store on the way a l lot.

Sent my kids back home to their separate apartment in Hoboken after Passover. Driver Dropped off one and continued to the other's apartment with no problem. Fare was same as originally quoted (first apt was on the way to the second)

so, when I order enter final destination or first pick up?

Final destination.  Explain the route / stop when you get in the car.  Uber billing is a time/distance thing, so adding some time/distance should net the driver more money.

Yes, final overall destination and you would inform the driver that you'd be guiding them to the first pick up along the way. The GPS app (if they are using it) will continue to plot out a route to the drop off point.

Thanks (and yes, this is one situation where I would definitely add a tip!)
