I still think my first interpretation of the cryptic nohero post is correct, but even nh realized his premise was idiotic so rather than defend it he fired up the smoke machine.
I'll leave you guys to your riddles.
You'd be more on target if almost the entire world used MOL. I think that's clear enough. But that's just my opinion.
MOL has the best discussion platform I've ever seen. If you could ever get through to him, I think Musk would be impressed and . . . who knows where that would lead. Seriously.

probably nowhere. There's no evidence Musk wants the best discussion platform.
Just to correct the record, what Mr. Surovell calls a "personal attack" on the Twitter is the same statement of fact that I and others make here, about trusting his interpretation or summary of what anyone says or writes, especially public figures and news articles. If it's not a "personal attack" here, it's not there.
And it's interesting to read Paul's comments on the Twitter (using a web browser, not the Twitter app, which anyone can do), because he's more "MAGA-like" there than he presents himself here.

Latest criteria of Mr.Thought Policeman -- "More MAGA-Like Than". Taking McCarthyism to a new level.

he’s no hero, but his assessment of you is spot on. I feel the same way, you could very well be a closeted MAGATrumpist. In fact I would go so far as to say anyone who supports Putin is a trumpist. It’s kinda hard to separate the two cretins.

You made a "MAGA-like" response as an attack on this statement from a cable TV host: "It’s a lie to say Hillary Clinton didn’t accept the 2016 election result and not sure why the reporter seemed to agree with McCarthy and not push back on this. We cannot allow the GOP to use mainstream media platform to again push or whatabout the Big Lie." You called him a "history-denier".
In other words, you "whatabouted the Big Lie" of the MAGAs.

The biggest difference between MOL and twitter is scale. I think the problems we see on massive social media networks are inherent to the scale they operate at, and the economic incentives they operate under, and can't actually be "fixed."
Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, a close ally of President Vladimir Putin and a key figure in the war in Ukraine, admitted bluntly on Monday to interfering in U.S. elections.
"Gentlemen, we interfered, we are interfering, and we will interfere," declared Prigozhin in a statement quoted by his company, Concord. The oligarch has been sanctioned by Washington for running a "troll factory" to influence the outcome of votes in the U.S. and elsewhere.
once again, my bad for being imprecise. I meant Democrats running for office claiming that voting in general is beset by widespread fraud.
There's obviously no parallel between a Republican Party that literally stormed the capitol to try and capture, maybe kill, legislators it disagrees with and is pushing to reject future elections it loses, and the Democratic party. However imprecise you may have been, there's nowhere near enough ambiguity in there to try and wedge in the kind of baldly bad faith moral equivalence that seeks to whatabout Republicans' attacks on American democracy.

while this is true, at least two people in this thread did an explicit whatabout. So it's worth it for the rest of us to try to be more precise with our language.
and speaking of imprecise, is anyone aware of exactly what Elon Musk thinks are the "excesses" of Republicans and Democrats? My bet is that he thinks the great sin of the Democratic Party is "wokeness."
It started a while ago, but he's steadily been getting worse to the point where I could no longer put his face on my brand, so I switched to his former Goth Detective partner Noel Fielding instead.
I haven't deliberately read or listened to anything from Brand for about 8 years, and if you hadn't asked the question I wouldn't even have known about paulsurovell's response to me as I typically skip his posts, too.

It's the Democrats' fault that he can't sing all the lyrics to his favorite rap songs anymore.

Put aside the simplistic nature of this claim for a moment & focus on the fact that the far right in America is a guy banned from Twitter for inciting violence, and backed by Nazis & QAnon, while the far left is an old guy from Vermont who wants everyone to have free healthcare. https://t.co/nEwKOfImBh

So Elon believes Twitter must be politically neutral, but then uses Twitter to tell America to vote for Republicans in the midterm elections.
How does that compromise the neutrality of the platform? You don't have to listen to him. I didn't, and I still have a Twitter account in good standing today.
I was going to, but Victoria Nuland told me I'm out of the cabal if I did, which means I'd have to make my own sandwiches.
