Hi MOLers - for all of you following the upcoming 11th District congressional election, here is a great show for you. Tom Malinowski returned to the podcast today and discussed AIPAC's dark money arm, Israel, Trump, ICE, Minneapolis, Mamdani, Epstein and so much more!

Go Tom!

Are you interviewing the other candidates?

The interviewers clearly support Malinowski, opening with an emphasis on his South Orange residency and teaching job followed by several minutes promoting the idea that a Malinowski loss would be a win for dark money.

Unless I missed it, the ethics complaint that BaseballMom highlighted in the Politics thread doesn’t come up.

Did he mention the stock sales?  That's all I'm seeing in my mailbox the past few days?

No. That’s the ethics complaint.

All the candidates have been interviewed. I’ll drop the link below.  Regarding Malinowski and the ethics complaint, he has answered that question ad nauseam, there was no reason to bring it back up a few days before the election. The interviewers were more interested in the current state of the state. Here are the other candidates!

You can find the other interviews here:

The YouTube page for Lee and Ian shows episodes interviewing a number of the candidates, and Brendan Gill and Tom Malinowski listed twice (I may have missed some, but here's the page to look)

The Lee and Ian Show - YouTube

I scrolled through that list and saw nothing with Anililia Mejia. Did I miss it?

there were repeated attempts to set up a day to record an episode  but unfortunately, nothing could be worked out.

I thought it was illegal to have people at the polling sites endorsing candidates, but I have noticed it at the last few elections. Is it not illegal? I mean I can't imagine anybody going to vote doesn't have their mind made up by the time they get to the polling location, but I don't like people telling me who to vote for as I'm walking into vote.

I think they stand at the legal distance.  If I’m in a good mood I tell them that I always decide who I’m voting for before going to the polls.  If not, I’ve occasionally told them exactly why I’m not voting fo the heir candidate…

they’re supposed to be 100 feet away from the polling station. I agree, it’s annoying. That’s why I voted for the young woman from Morris County. I am just fed up with the rest of them
