You have to wonder if he was exposing himself to blackmail while secretary of the treasury.

Not surprisingly, they've taken the post down and sort of almost kinda apologized. Sounds like Denton signed off on this pre-publication, which suggests that nobody will lose their jobs over it. Glad to see they've come to their senses, although I still can't fathom what they were thinking in the first place.

That letter screams "okay, lots of people are angry so I'll take down the story - but I have no idea why said people are angry."
The likely source is a conspiracy theorist with an anti Obama bent and it seems the whole story was concocted.
