Things to do in Brooklyn Sunday Morning Remsen Street Downtown

My wife is speaking at a conference at St Francis College and my 12 year old daughter and I are driving her there.  My daughter and I are looking for something to keep busy that morning while my wife speaks (it is not something we are meant to be at ourselves).

Any suggestions on what to do?  Perhaps a great breakfast place?  I doubt many attractions will be open at that time on a Sunday.

The Brooklyn Museum opens at 11:00 am on Sundays.  Well worth the visit if your schedule permits.

The promenade and Brooklyn Bridge Park are nearby and it's a nice walk. I like Jack the Horse Tavern.
