The Rainbow Crosswalk needs some TLC!

Has anyone checked on the Maplewood Township Rainbow Crosswalk lately?  The rainbow is badly faded and needs some TLC.  Can we have it painted again?  This was done by the Township right?  It's on Oakview Avenue and Valley Street right next to the Township building.

Stop with your shots at the town. The crosswalk, the Halloween parade, etc. if you have issues, contact them directly.

 Okay, fine if you would rather see the rainbow crosswalk in this condition.  I thought this was supposed to mean something not just another photo op for politicians.  I think if we put up a symbol like this, it should be maintained. It's taken quite a beating.

 and if they have it painted every time it starts to show wear you can complain about the cost. For you it's win-win!

 I just noticed this on my walk to Memorial Park.  It couldn't be that expensive.  It's just paint right?  How much did it cost?  Besides, it is not just the rainbow, it is also the common street lines. Actually, my first thought was this stuff is pretty bumpy and thick and someone could trip on it. It looks bad.  You have to see it close up.

not zero. But I'll tell you what I tell other people who ask questions on the internet.  Why don't YOU find out how much it cost, if you're so concerned about having it repaired.

To fix it they can start by painting over it, it was a nice gesture but it looks awful and if they’re not planning on keeping up with it, then do away with it
