Just like giving the Queen of England an I-pod or the wrong formatted DVD's to Gordon Brown. Oh can't forget the plastic Marine One Helicopter to Browns children.

I will be offering a free analogy workshop to the analogy impaired.

Can you start by letting glock know that HRH Elizabeth II is Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as well as Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, Grenada, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda and Saint Kitts and Nevis. "Queen of England" is not inaccurate, but not truly accurate at the same time.

I didn't know that. I'll outsource any royalty questions to you.

I've discovered over my years of being questioned by curious Americans on this topic that I have extremely limited knowledge of royal things Americans are interested in.

Well, rest at ease then - I have little interest in royal things.

How do you guys EVER find the time to come up with so much stuff to be outraged over?

Outraged? Come on Tom I think it's funny that anything said about obama gets scutanized over, It's the posters opinion on the matter being discussed. Just like the dishwashing photo op. JLD gets most of the hostility just like metalart used to. Funny part is that my mind would be changed on whom I'm voting for just like yours won't from posts on this board. Just fun to poke a stick in the cage and watch the comments, same as everyone else.

Metalart never really made political posts.

And, Her Majesty's a pretty nice girl.

But she really doesn't have a lot to say cheese

It was an FBI sting. Some people only read headlines.

Not so, I read the entire story. The point is that there are individuals in this country that are ready and eager to kill us. That this incident was a sting operation doesn't change that reality.

Back to the Rose Garden remarks: if the administration now is trying to link the murder of four Americans in Benghazi to rioting mobs under the umbrella term of "acts of terror", I would expect our commander-in-chief to express the incident specifically, and with passion. The dead Americans deserved that the morning after - not a general lumping together with the video rioting.

I believe Mr. Obama wanted the matter downplayed so close to the election.

Of course, he didn't even mention the video in those remarks.

Wait. His middle name is Hussein?

Well you see, when Obama says "acts of terror" he's not talking about a terrorist attack.

And when he does not mention a video he's clearly talking about a video.

That's wingnut logic.

Are we discussing Romney and his plan to repeal health care reform now?

He was talking about 'acts of terror' in general, but not the Benghazi incident because he had an image to maintain.. He delayed calling it terrorism until later when he was sure of the intelligence.

At least, that was his explanation to the voter that asked him at the debate.

"He basically explained to me why he delayed calling it a terrorist attack. He said he wanted to be deliberate and make sure that the intelligence he was acting on was real intelligence and not disinformation because he felt that anything he did in that region of the world — if he did it based on erroroneous facts and information, it would be more damaging that [the event itself]. . . . He was concerned that it could have been misinformation or wrong information."

Concerned about misinformation, you see. So was Susan Rice.

The address was about Benghazi. Why mention terrorism if it's not related? Why not mention chocolate pudding or the Queen of England?

Meanwhile, Romney has not mentioned Libya since the debate.

Oops.

Candy Crowley, and President Obama, have some explaining to do...

On Sunday, September 30 2012, CNN's Candy Crowley interviewed Senator John McCain on the September 11th Libya embassy attack, where Crowley stated:

"Friday [Sept 28th], we got the administration's sort of definitive statement that this now looks as though it was a pre-planned attack by a terrorist group, some of whom were at least sympathetic to Al Qaeda. Why do you think, and are you bothered, that it has taken them this long, from September 11th to now, to get to this conclusion?"

Goodness, you people are sore losers.

You've beaten this point to death and it's taking you nowhere.

Move on.

The embassy was not attacked.

GOP: "We exploit dead people."

Republicans really really need this to be a scandal.

It's not.

In fact, their denial of reality led to what will ultimately be judged as one of the most embarrassing moments in presidential debate history.

There is a key word there that you seem to be missing.

"Conclusion."

Talk about a scandal, This coming from someone that is so concerned if the pots were cleaned prior to a photo.

Not a scandal, just an embarrassing, shameless moment for Lyin' Ryan.

Oh, and it's been shown that there were some pre-cleaned pots that Ryan re-cleaned, and some not cleaned ones that were set aside specifically for him at his campaign's request after worker's cleaned up everything else.

Dirty or clean, the gist of it was still "we can't actually be there to help, but set up something for us so we can pretend we did."

"Goodness, you people are sore losers.

You've beaten this point to death and it's taking you nowhere."

Then you'll be heartened to see the GOP continue to point out that Obama isn't only a disaster but a dishonest one, as that effort will likely hurt Romney's chances.

I'm still curious why his mention of terrorism was completely unrelated to the topic he was addressing.

Sometimes he just hangs out in the Rose Garden and says whatever words come to mind as a demonstration of free speech.

And why instead the speech was all about the video, which he DID NOT mention.
