Hit the road Tulsi, and don't you come back, no more, no more, no more, no more

As an example, I disagree that this is a "flaw" for her.  It's a "feature", and a Donald Trump win would be perfect for her "brand".

I'm not sold on this because I think a Donald Trump win is another step towards Gabbard's home state being devastated by sea level rise.

However I'll concede that I certainly can't see into her heart. If she's making regular appearances on Fox News in 2021 criticizing the Warren administration I owe you a beer.  question

question

Last night, she went on Tucker Carlson to comment about CNN, using a clip from "Project Veritas", the James O'Keefe operation that makes deceptive videos.  In the latest, some guy is shown who claims to have "inside information" about CNN bias.  Tulsi reinforces Tucker's talking point about that (although other Fox "personalities" think it's bull caca):

So what do I win?   smile

 Is it 2021?

Is Warren the president?

But yeah it seems like she's on the path to the dark side. It makes me sad.

And if you don't like Tulsi, that makes you a you-know-what.  Even if you're Ronan Farrow's mom -

Are you saying that "Ronan Farrow's mom" couldn't possibly be a regime-change warmonger?

What's your explanation for her Tulsi-hate?

mrincredible said:

Paul Mulshine thinks Democrats should nominate her. That's all I need to hear.

Mulshine is solidly antiwar. That's where he's coming from.

My view differs from mrincredible's.  I don't think her motives and intentions are all that benign.  She sees a path towards prominence and a payoff, and is finding her audience for that.

The debate was her latest "audition" for a role as a "Fox News Democrat".

@nohero has had Tulsi Derangement Syndrome ever since she resigned as vice chair of the DNC to support Bernie. Her consistent opposition to regime-change war in Syria has intensified his derangement.

That was hatred?

Are you saying that Mia Farrow couldn’t possibly have other reasons to have seen enough of Gabbard? No, of course you’re not saying that; otherwise, there’d be nothing to bet on.

You are again repeating a scurrilous charge.

I'm pretty sure that no one on MOL, except for maybe you and nan, even noticed Tulsi's defection - or thought about it for more than five minutes anyway.

It was a non-event for pretty much everyone.

If that was the case you'd think he would have mentioned that in the piece.

Ronan Farrow's mother's son Ronan Farrow was also on Fox News last night for an extensive interview. Eric Swallwell was on at night. Lots of people going on Fox News.

Yeah I actually read it. His position is Gabbard will somehow drive high voter turnout which is the only way Democrats can win in 2020 according to Moody's analysis. And that if Elizabeth Warren is the nominee then voters will stay home.

I don't this Mulshine actually wants a president Gabbard. I think he read the Moody's analysis and is just twisting the knife.

Wait, I thought Tulsi Derangement Syndrome was the condition that lead Bob, Dan and Paul (her supporters) to support her.

ETA:  I see in my feeds that Dan abandoned Tulsi for Gorpo after her poor showing in the debate. Good news Paul!  You have an extra veggie burger waiting for you!

Mr. Surovell seems sorely in need of a clue, here.

You're forgetting about Mr. Surovell's mind reading abilities.

He sees the fact that she grew up in Hawaii as did Obama as a major factor in her favor. By that criteria I have a much better candidate:

Bette Midler

I’d vote for Ron Darling over Benny. Yale Man. ;-)

Plus Benny never won a championship.

Shaaaane Victoreeeeenoooo.

Higher WAR than Darling. More rings.

He reneged on his deal to play for the Rainbow Warriors.

I think we need a trustworthy Hawaiian President give what we've been through.

I would take Sid Fernandez over Darling.

Great!
Thank you Hillary Clinton.

You, the queen of warmongers,
Embodiment of corruption,
Personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long,
Have finally come out from behind the curtain.

From the day I announced my candidacy,
There has been a concerted campaign
To destroy my reputation.
We wondered who was behind it and why.

Now we know —

IT WAS ALWAYS YOU!!!!!
Through your proxies and powerful allies
In the corporate media
And war machine,
Afraid of the threat I pose.

It’s now clear that this primary is between you and me.
Don’t cowardly hide behind your proxies.
Join the race directly.

Have to wonder if Putin uses his own voice when he uses Tulsi as his puppet.   Does anyone know if Uncle Vladi is a good ventriloquist?

Okay. I don't think I can say anything positive about her any more.

But I will say what Secretary Clinton did was clumsy and unnecessarily provocative. There's an exploitable group of voters who are willing to buy the line that there is a conspiracy against candidates like Gabbard. And I think there are people who are looking to exploit them. That latter group just got a gift from Clinton.

She could have stuck to the underlying problem of outside actors looking to splinter the Democratic party.  And avoided making Gabbard look like an unwitting puppet.

Clinton's comments were ill-advised, to say the least.

Tulsi's rebuttal, on the other hand, was positively unhinged.

Paul probably wrote the rebuttal.

"ill" not "ill advised"..

Hillary's taking a well-deserved beating over this.
