I live on Valley, exactly one mile from CHS. I left my house at 3:00, picked up my daughter, and headed straight home. I'm still not home, 1 1/2 hours later.
People making up their own rules at Valley and Baker. Making it worse. Blocking an ambulance. Stay friendly, folks.
Disabled cars getting dumped, people getting stuck going up hills. It’s ugly folks.

What does”dumped” mean?
Officially 2:50 to make the 7 minute drive home from MMS. Glad we're safely home, if a little less impressed with people in general. Difficult situations bring out the best or the worst in people. My favorite was the driver who crossed the threshold on Valley and just leaned on the horn for like a minute straight. Laughing with, not at, that one.
At one point - about an hour in - my daughters fussed at me for NOT making them walk home. Next time, girls … next time.
I do wonder who decided the roads didn't need to be treated today. It was the wrong choice it turns out

Now … where's the thread to ***** about not having early dismissal?
I’m also super surprised at the lack of early dismissal. Whom ever made the call missed it by a long shot.

Lots of roads were pre-treated yesterday.

As I was crawling along Valley in the second hour of my seven minute commute, I talked with a police officer parked on the shoulder. First I asked traffic advice, then I politely asked him to go arrest the people from SOMSD responsible for not calling an early dismissal. He laughed and said, "We're working on that right now."
