LOL. Those prices are a joke, right?

$15 does seem excessive for a can of beer. Even a pounder.  But I know beer in cans has regained a lot of caché amongst connoisseurs.

I wonder what the prices would look like without the antiquated liquor license laws in NJ. If they didn’t have to pony up half a million (or more) for one of the few licenses available, would they charge as much to make back their investment?

I mean if the upcharge on a can of beer is inflated by roughly $5 you’d make back your investment in 100,000 beers. Is there anyone in town up to the challenge?

Also, I noticed that they charge you an extra buck for a glass of the same wine in the main restaurant than they do in the Germany-place.

But seriously, though, $8.00 for a can of Miller Lite when you can get 6 cans of Miller Lite at Buy Rite for $8.99 is pushing it.

I’m a little curious to know how many of those cans they move in an average week. My guess is “not many” at that price. But I’m out of touch with current dining trends.

Miller Lite was my special occasion beer in college when I felt like splurging. Otherwise it was Old Milkwaukee.

The beer is pricey.

Those prices confuse me.

I just saw that they brought the price of the Village Hall Burger down to $21. It's an 8oz brisket blend burger with bacon, onion confit, fries, and garlic pickle.

The Pumphouse burger is an 8oz brisket blend burger on a toasted pretzel bun with beer cheese, bacon, sauteed onions, fries and a pickle for only $16. What's there to be confused about?

That confuses me less than the beer prices. Are they imperial pints, at least?
