short power outages?

Anyone else experiencing VERY SHORT power outages?   We've just had one and I know we must have had others because the microwave's clock is blinking.

I am at the bottom of New England Rd., on Ridgewood, and yes had a short outage, but only one room was affected.

No problems on the east end of Maplewood.  But then again, I have a generator (which didn't go on).

Yep - at 4:28pm on Jefferson avenue.  For a few seconds -- just enough to freak out a few electronic devices...

We are in Kendal Valley area, just had a short outage that lasted 5-6 minutes.  Not the first one today, our clocks were all blinking when we arrived home about 1.5 hrs ago.

Yes - but I'm in SO! Near cedar ridge cafe, above ridgewood. First couple were short; just had a longer one, but it was over within 5 mins. Wonder what's going on.

Earlier today when we were trying to get to Gleasons, we saw a bunch of PSE&G trucks parked on West Parker Avenue between Maplewood Avenue and Valley Street.  Street was blocked off with cones.  Don't know if it is related or what kind of work if any the crews of those trucks were doing.

We've had a few in the past week - just long enough to mean I have to reset the clocks on the radios, microwave and stove but not long enough for the generator to kick in. We're in Maplewood, up the block from the Municipal Building.

So I work from home and it seems to be a constant thing, so what is the problem locally?
