from Robert Roe: The Springfield Ave. Health and Harvest fest will be held Saturday. (Unless the weather is really bad.) (see adds) The parts I really like of this festival are the healthy cooking contest by local food eateries. They are really competitive and the food is great and samples are free. So, you get a really interesting free lunch this way. Walgreen's is giving flu shots. St. Barnabas is doing cooking demo for persons with some types of illnesses. I am always interested in the Zumba teachers who want us to join in. It is really intense vigorous fun exercise. So, if you are looking for a nice local fair on Saturday,this is it! We will be there even in light rain.
