Ruth Rendell - unwell

Sorry to hear this. She's another favorite of mine. Once you start reading one of Ruth Rendell's books you just can't put it down.
Just finished her latest, The Girl Next Door (it's an ebook and I forget titles) . Very slow going in the beginning with so many characters, I was a little put off, but being a fan of Rendell, I perservered and it really hooked you. She has another book coming out in October.
I'm not sure if you caught the news she died...

Jean-Claude Berline, the French editor of her next book, said Rendell "has been in a coma for several days and it seems that it is irreversible".
Scottish crime writer Ian Rankin called the development "grim news".
"Comes so soon after we lost PD James," he wrote on Twitter. "Wishing her a full and speedy recovery."
