Refrigerator Repair???

A daughter's out-of-warrantee but not that old refrigerator is leaking.

Our usual go-to is Village Apliance but they don't do refrigerators.

Anyone know of a local repair person?

George's Appliance Repair has always been good to us.

If it is an American brand, call Larry at Astre Appliance Tech. I've been recommending him here and to friends and neighbors for years and I've never heard anything but good reviews afterward. Larry has done repairs for me on and off for 20 years or more, including fridge, stove, washer, dryer and dishwasher. (908) 272-7744 or (908) 273-4166

Agree.

I did not have a good experience with George's (they didn't know how to fix my fridge and wanted to experiment replacing parts -- starting at $500!). I didn't know about Astre Appliance at the time, so I went with Sears appliance repair. For $250 a year repair contract, they came back 5 times before they found out what the problem was. And the contract was transferred to the new owners of my house.

Depending where it is leaking from, it might be an easy fix.

Last week, out fridge began leaking from the middle back , and I stopped my husband, who thought he would have to take apart the interior of the freezer, etc.

I googled the problem and found it was a plugged seal. We fixed it in a few minutes, by going to the source on the exterior of the fridge.

I do hope yours is easy too.
