Ramadan in Maplewood?

My wife and I just moved to Maplewood in April.  My wife's mother is visiting us from Morocco and staying with us.  This will be her first Ramadan outside of Morocco and she is looking for others in Maplewood who observe Ramadan and would be interested in breaking the fast together. 

Please respond if you or anyone you know in town may be observing Ramadan and is interested in enjoying a Moroccan breakfast.

Also, consider becoming a member of Somasian on FB and posting there.  There are quite a few local muslim members. 

I'm not aware of any mosques in Maplewood but a search engine should be able to produce a list of mosques in neighboring towns.  Those congregations should be able to put you in touch with Muslim families in the immediate area.

I was curious about this too, and called the Moroccan restaurant in South Orange.  The owner of Falafel-ly yours says they will have Iftaar every evening.  Of course, you may want to confirm in advance:  973) 313-1333.  Welcome to town!

Welcome to the town .. i believe the center in Union (ICUC NJ) will also do Iftaars.
