Just when you thought you couldn’t love pork roll any more, along comes a festival celebrating the beloved breakfast meat.
The Third annual Pork Roll Festival will take place May 28 at Mill Hill Park in Trenton, the birthplace of this New Jersey favorite. The outdoor festival will feature vendors cooking up pork-roll themed menus, Trenton pork roll history, a pork roll recipe contest, and the crowning of the pork roll queen.
The festival, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., also will feature live entertainment and craft vendors.
Tickets, which cost $5, can be purchased in advance at http://porkrollfestival.com.
