Police Bike Auction

Does anyone know if and or when this will be happening?

The bike auction is set for Saturday May 30th.

Bikes can be previewed at 9am, bidding to start at 9:30.

You can save a lot of money at a bike auction, but set aside some money to have a bike shop go over it and do what's necessary. It can cost more than you expect, but you'll still save money.

@ace :  Anything decent in there this year?  At some point I should replace my old one...

@ctrz There are a few nice ones, they'll all need work though.

Yeah, nobody gets a free ride. My problem is that I wouldn't know which one to bid on. :-( Maybe next year.

Go to newark bike exchange.  They have a lot of nice but cheap bikes already repaired and are very helpful.
