I would go with physical therapy over a chiropractor. I had used the Kessler in Union Center and was not impressed by them. I tried a place in monmouth county that was supposed to be exceptionally good..and i could have just done the same things at home. There was a 3rd place I had tried near by job in Clark, but luckily it closed down, it was the worst of all.
I have heard some good things about JAG, but never tried it myself. I think there is a location on Morris Ave in Union.
By all means, go to Dr. Rachel Baluyot-Escusa at Millburn Chiropractic Arts LLC, 68 Essex Street, Millburn 973-467-3993. She isn't a "bone cracker", but uses gentle, hands-on approach and looks at the total person. She will refer you to a physical therapist if need be (there's one she referred me to -- but turns out I didn't need it -- on Millburn Avenue by the CVS). I can't recommend her -- or her staff -- highly enough. Good luck!
thanks just saw the comments I received another recommendation today for Dr Rachel...
Jason Levy, chiropractor, in Short Hills. Fixed my daughter when neither an orthopedist nor a physical therapist could.
Yet another vote for Dr. Rachel. She is a wonderful chiropractor. Really helped me with some back and neck issues.
And if you need physical therapy, I had great success with JAG in Union. (Can't speak to the offices).
I go to Courtney Centrelli at Dr. Levy's office. Also Dara Avila in Maplewood for p/t

I was in a recent fender bender - hit from behind and one month later my neck and back still hurt. its the neck pain that bothers me the most. I am looking for a great orthopedist/ pt and chiropractor. I really want to shake this and get back to normal.
