What's really weird is that two different friends on Facebook, on in S.O. and one in upstate NY posted on the passing of Joe Cocker last night. He actually passed away last December.
I think part of what happens is how the 'related reading' links come up in all our online stuff; people see a headline even though the actual news is old and spread it around as if it's fresh, so the re-grieving spreads anew.
