Old cuisinart fp

I have an old Cuisinart food processor -I think an original- I’d to read a manual for it.   My first question is: are the bowls and other parts diswasher safe?

Do I have all the parts?

How to assemble so I can safely test it?

Any help will be appreciated.

These are the parts for my Cuisinart, which I got in 1987.

(the ones circled green)

what model do you have? I'm sure the manual is online somewhere.

here's a good intro video

everything is dw safe, except for the base.

The metal chopping blade as been recalled and replaced as it is unsafe and may put metal splinters into the food. Check with Cuisinart.

First I'm back...last night my iPad screen went black.  I just got it back.

DB & LL- thanks so much for your time and useful tips.  I watched the vid once, late last night, -may be missing a part.  Second or third viewing will resokve.  The tip re: blade is really important- FOR EVERYBODY.

THANKS

I have that one. Placing the bowl in the DW will result in its becoming brittle and breaking at the motor contact points. Hand wash. Otherwise no complaints since the mid 1980s.

It looks like for the blade recall, it only effects blades with rivets.

Really easy to get new ones from Cuisinart. Check here:
