Nonstop alarm

1. Can anyone else hear an alarm (probably a car alarm) in the Jefferson area? It's been going off for at least ten minutes.

And it's back on. I'm tempted to get dressed, find the offender's home, and wake them up at 5am.

Do alarms only go off late at night or is that the only time we notice them

Family member had to take car to Nelson's to have the alarm disconnected when that was happening.

The alarm intermittently going off could be a sign of a dying car battery which is exactly what happened to our son's car. If you can find the owner of the car, you can suggest he/she take the car to a mechanic to have the battery checked and if necessary, replaced. Once the battery in my son's car was replaced, the problem went away.

I can't believe that people still have car alarms.

20 years ago in college I lived in the "jock" dorm (I am not a "jock) and they would leave for a road trip of away games forgetting to turn off their alarms. The one next door to my rooom would go off for three days straight... that's when I discovered ear plugs.
