Need info/reference regarding 2 decor topics

Hello, I'm interested in having a window seat built under a small bow window located in our dining room. Would also need info regarding where to get the seating cushion. As you can see in the photo, we are looking to replace the table currently in this spot.

Reliable references only please - and thank you in advance!

Following with interest. We keep toying with this

Would also love to hear anybodies reco for the custom seat cushion!

That looks just like the bow window in the dining room of my last house, a Tudor. The previous owners had a custom cushion made to fit in a neutral velvet fabric. It wasn't used often as a seat, but you can add some useful storage if you have a hinged lid built into the platform.

Although window seats seem like such a comfy, cozy idea, my experience is that people rarely use them. You don't really want to sit against a window even if it has cushions. The space is usually too short, too highand oddly shaped to really lounge. They're great for storage though.

And, depending on your financials, building a custommade window seat and cushion gets to be pretty expensive. Looks nice. I agree, I think they don't really get sat on much.

The decorating store in Union. They have redone my sofa cushions, and I also looked at adding custom cushions to my already existing ledge to the front bay window in the living room. I found they have done a great job with a lot of my upholstery work.

A bit of a drift/not what you asked: Would you consider shifting the table and actually using the window seat as bench seating around the dining room table? I also feel you can place low roll, oblong pillow or wedge backs on top of the cushions, below or to the ledge of the windows. Clearly not what you asked; however I was struck by the comments above around lack of use, and thought this might be a way to integrate their use and actually enjoy the light coming in through the window/connect to outside view more when seated at table.

Many thanks to all for the comments/opinion/references!

That's a pretty deep space. Consider building a rectangular bench with storage inside under the double windows and triangular shelves under the angled windows. The top of the shelves can be level with cushion, so they serve as end tables for the bench. I think if you have just the rectangular bench like above, it will be used more than a long trapezoidal shaped bench.
