National Carrot Cake Day

Break out the vegetable grater and the cream cheese! It is time for National carrot cake day! Carrot cake puts the vitamin A in awesome!  

Let's get the controversies out of the way. Raisins are okay in carrot cake, walnuts are not.

I'll confess I'm being selfish because I wouldn't know where to buy a good one.

I have once or twice in a diner here or there. But I've had really good Carrot cake in a lot of diners.

Love carrot cake, but allergic to walnuts... and finding walnut-free carrot cake is a challenge. 

If I recall correctly, I had a delicious carrot cupcake from Cedar Ridge a while back. I may have ordered it for a birthday party...
