Local daycare recommendations?

This is a question that gets asked frequently on MOL by people who've just moved or are soon moving to the area.

My kid went to morning preschool, not full-day daycare, so I can't make any firsthand recommendations. In case preschool is an option for you, highest recommendation for Mickey Fried Nursery School at Oheb Shalom Congregation (you don't need to be Jewish).

We love Le Parc Place.... It is in Maplewood, above the post office. Small, personal, and the staff is really wonderful. Zina (the owner) does a great job in bringing out the best in each child. http://www.leparcplace.com

Bumping this thread because I'm looking for recs as well, and I can't seem to get some of the old forum threads to work? I'd love some in-home recommendations in particular.

10000% a fan of Our Lady of Sorrows.  Great staff, great facilities, great location and great kids/parents.

Both my kids attended Garden of Wonders in Union, near Burnett and Vauxhall. If you commute to Union or take 78 east, it may be a great fit.

Another vote for gardens of wonders !! My 3 year old attends there and loves it !!
