Lightening strike

There seemed to be a very intense lightening strike somewhere around Collinwood Rd around 3:30 last night. Was anyone's house hit? Woke up the whole house

Literally scared the sh*t out of our dog! We're two blocks north of Collinwood

We're near there and it felt like it was over our house! Wondering if it was somewhere in the reservation....

I'm more than as mile from there and I thought it was my house. Loudest thunder I've ever heard.

I am 7 miles to your west---I was convinced a house blew up in my neighborhood, or it was an earthquake of historic proportions--it was, without question the LOUDEST thunderclap I have ever heard!

Woke me from a deep sleep. Then the lightening was so bright for the next hour that I couldn't fall back asleep. Nature is powerful!

I thought it was in the Sloan area in SO.

Two of the thunder claps during this morning's storm were, I think, the loudest I've ever heard! (I'm near CHS.)

I would correct this to say, "lightning," but I think "lightening" is what happened... smile

Sounds like no one was hurt or their house hit. Just some unanticipated poopage and much interrupted sleep!

I'm about two blocks from Clinton School in Maplewood. I thought the house was going to shake apart. Boys, dog, and husband all slept through it, though that doesn't surprise me in the least.

Wow! I must have slept through it too, because this is news to me.
