Since it's "concert" season at the hill, please people, do not bring GLASS and kindly do use the garbage cans provided (or in the world of hiking we work to "leave no trace" and pack out what we packed in).
request - if the government department that manages the parks:
1) who approves the events, would kindly enforce some sort of accountability for the clean up procedures, then it makes for a nicer and more usable community space in the long run
and
2) would encourage the government employees that empty the trash bins, to stop driving their trucks on the grass and creating so many muddy tire ruts and water pooling receptacles, that would be nice too.
It can't be more than 20 yards walking to / from any bin from the road. The bags can't be THAT heavy and the exercise/walking is healthy. Worse case a small wagon or wheel barrow could be used, if the budget can afford it.
Again, kudos on the dog waste bag stations!!!!!!!
PS - looking forward to the duck race too ;-) yay spring...
