Meanderings...

Then I suppose what I would just like to say -- it's a beautiful day out -- would be bad form.

I am in the dentist appointment from hell.

Double booking? ;-)

I wish. Suffice to say, an appointment to get 2 fillings filled ended up with a lot of unexpected drilling pain, some unexpected dead nerves which complicated things, and me in a chair for two hours and my jaw having spasms from having my mouth open for so long.

Ow. Feel better soon, DB.

BTDT! Feel better soon!

Drugs are your friends. Your dentist is not.

Strawberry Haggen Dasz is just remarkable.

Serendipity is sublime.

that lately the spelling on thread titles has gotten really embarrassing.

(I know, it's a made-up name anyway. An excuse that will no doubt wipe this grin off my face, eventually.)

Remember Frugen glagen? No idea of how to spell it, but I loved that stuff as a kid.

It's Frusen Glädjé, google was able to interpret my incredibly bad spelling.

A student just showed me a letter from a Summer program at UCLA, granted it was for musical theater, but they kept stating that the students needed certain 'additions' of books, i.e. the Teen Musical Theater addition!!!!!!!! I did my undergrad degree there, so I was doubly appalled!

Damn. I even double checked the carton.

People have come to say "all the sudden" lately.

That's really bad. ^^^

I saw a FB post today where the person said eliviate instead of alleviate. Would you correct the person in that situation? Sometimes I think it's worse to ignore the mis-spelling and let it hang out there.

NEW YORK (AP) 12/5/2012– An embarrassing misspelling of "school" is gone from the street outside a New York City school building. Utility workers used heavy machinery to grind up the wrongly placed "H" and "C" in the "SHCOOL X-NG" sign on Tuesday.

Believe it or not, we were Shcmidts until a typo at Ellis Island.

Truly? :O

;-)

Of the two options I gave, better to go with the second.

You'd have been spending all your time spelling your name for people, instead of the half the time you spend now.

Heh. Spelling it all the way half the time beats spelling it half the way all the time, which was big in seventh grade. (MOL version: *c*m*d*.)

I would just like to say ... I'm glad there's no i umlaut.

Fighting it out on Facebook political threads reminds me of the good old days at MOL, except the people on FB are soooooo much dumber.

Don't even get me started on those hacks...

My family name was Impromptu, but I guess Spontaneous just sounded more American.

And all this time I thoughtht that Spontaneous was your first name instead of your last. My family name used to be Ctraska-Jazzmostein, until they decided to assimilate.

I thought your last name was Combustion, Spontaneous. wink

Rediculous???

MOL Search Function: Found 105 items in 0.001 seconds.

I thought that was a fairly easy word.

Here we go:

If I should end up on life supports, just unplug me.
Then plug me in again.
See if that works.

I ran over a raccoon last night. Couldn't stop in time.

That sucked.
