How do you edit a thread title?

From the Forum Upgrade FAQ:

How do I edit the thread title?

Known issue: In the past you were able to edit the first comment of a thread and update the thread title - this capability is not integrated as of yet. When it is - thread creators will see the option to edit the title on the discussions/category pages where the thread titles are listed.

This has since been enabled.

I know this works because some of the lost animals are now showing up "found" in the thread titles. Before they were going to be lost forever.

I found it too yesterday in the FAQ when I needed to update a found owner of a dog.

Pavel announced 17 June that we can now edit thread titles, but I'm not sure how. (I couldn't work out the instructions) it's in the Official New Forum Thread

pkruglikov said:Hi All,One more update for today. We enabled editing of thread title and category for thread creators. If there will be your not closed thread in forum then there will be "Edit" link below it. When you'll click it then you will see form to edit title and category.Next features which we are going to work on are Last 24 page and opportunity to unfollow categories which are not interesting. Sure, some bugs are in our list and we are looking for solutions.

You go to the listing of thread titles, and under the title of any thread you started you will see the word "edit." Click on that.

Oh! I see, within the Category itself! I so rarely use that view, and I can't see 'Edit' in any other listing. Thank you, Peggy! oh oh

Yes, it's changed slightly from the old system. You're welcome!
