HELP! faucet is STILL dripping!
No matter where the water is coming from, you need a washer on one side.
Does the water feel warm or cold? Can you tell if someone took off a line from one of the supply lines after the supply line shut off, perhaps for an appliance, that runs to a point higher than the faucet? The leak may be water coming down from that higher point.
It's entirely possible (and likely) that one of your shutoff valves is not fully closing. There is nowhere else for the water to come from.

we have a constant drip & have turned off both hot and cold inputs. any idea where the water could possibly be coming from?
