Glorious NJ seasonal fruit & veg

Back here, we’ve just had an official reminder to ‘buy a ‘nana for a farmer’. [nanas (pr Nahnahs) is slang for bananas)  It seems we’re not buying as many as pre-Covid, probably due to bruising in home delivery.

Reminds me of the wonderful seasonal goodies you’re getting now: new lettuces and potatoes, juicy new berries - strawberries, raspberries and more - rhubarb, broccoli, cabbages, collard greens, new juicy tomatoes….

Keep your eyes out, buy some! Sample what you can of anything new! Get out there and try picking your own! Do it for the farmers
