My intel goes back years, but I have never known anyone who went to Gill who didn’t come from extreme wealth. like, old money/trust fund wealth. Might not be a factor that matters to you, but I just thought I’d put it out there.
The son of a friend attended Gill. I agree there seemed to be a lot of money at the school. The acceptance rate is higher than some of the other name-brand private schools in the area. I don't think it was his first choice but more of a back-up.
Overall, I think he had a good experience.

Thanks for all the responses. Can anyone comment on the academics there?

Does anyone here have children at the high school level at Gill St Bernard? It seems like a lovely school, but just a little further out. How tough are the academics-not looking for a pressure cooker. How friendly are the kids and how are they teachers? Can average athletes get on sports teams there? Thanks.
