Flu Shots

Flu shots were supposed to be at the town hall today. I was there at 11:30  and the parking lot was empty. . I saw nothing on the town website. ..Perhaps it was cancelled due to the weather

Maybe email the Health Department to find out what happened.

Shots were given indoors due to the weather.  This was not the senior dose.  Senior dose should be available at local pharmacies. Senior dose was available at the health fair on September 30th.

We got our flu shots inside the Town Hall building around 10:15. There was a sign attached to the railing that leads to the door and multiple ones inside that led us to registration.  With so few potential customers we had fun chatting with everyone. 

Don't rush to get your flu shot. There is no flu around yet. Hold off until later in the season.

I usually get mine at Town Hall (it's a very well run clinic, and the nurses administering know what they are doing). But I missed the announcement this year.

I understand the Mayor alerted everyone ? to the indoor move on Facebook. Unfortunately I  and many others do not have Facebook. I checked the town website. That seemed the logical place .First time in years I missed this.

I just spoke with Candice Davenport.  She tells me that there were signs outside the building alerting those coming to the flu clinic that the clinic had been moved inside.  She also asked me to tell you that it is not too late to get your flu shot at town hall this year.  She has invited you to come to town hall tomorrow starting at 10 am when the town will be holding a flu clinic for town employees.  You may get your flu shot then.  I hope you are able to make it at that time.
