Flood Watch Sept 11

The NWS has issued a Flood Watch for today, especially for this afternoon and evening.

Continued heavy rain on already saturated ground can cause excessive runoff and localized road and field ponding.

Slow moving fronts are forecast for today, tomorrow, and Wednesday, bringing more rain and muggy conditions. Things start to dry out on Thursday.

We just had our lawn patch seeded today and the tech who did it actually advised pre-watering so that the wet straw would help hold everything down. I hope the earlier softer rain did that and it works. (I guess we'll know later if we see seeds all over the sidewalk.)
