Flash Flood Watch tonight 9/27/18

With the ground saturated and the heavy rains from Tuesday still running off, the NWS has posted a Flash Flood Watch for tonight and tomorrow morning (Thursday night into Friday). Tonight's rain could be from 3/4 to 2 inches, enough to cause low-level pooling and run some creeks over their banks.

oy. my front lawn is already a swamp.

How much rain have we had this year anyway? Seems like the wettest summer in a long time.

For what it's worth, here is the data I submit.  My station number is NJ-ES-18.

I have 44.18" since Jan 1st.

Any predictions as to the most likely window when the rain will be in the area?

So it looks like we're close to the yearly average already?
