FIOS internet

Any one experiencing connectivity issues with Fios internet service?
For the past 2-3 Months I had to occasionally restart the router but lately it has become a lot worse.
Just had a chat with support, hard reset router, other tests done on their end … works for a while then it drops again….

mine has been trouble free since it was installed a year ago. might be a local wiring issue or something.

We've been solid here for a long time.

Have the offered to replace your router yet? Do you have the Actiontec or the Gateway? The Gateway we have seems more stable than our former Actiontec router.

We’ve been told we need to upgrade our router and boxes. Certain stations just drop out/black out as well as connectivity. Due to the pandemic, we can’t get anyone out which is understandable. Verizon told us to get back to them in June. LOL in the meantime we’ll just deal.

I found a replacement router from a seller on Facebook. They are available on eBay and Amazon too. Very occasional drops still, but night and day difference. Started a thread here about it a few weeks ago if you feel like looking for it.

Brief connectivity issue when trying to access on Demand feature, usually in early am. Power off, power on usually corrects the problem.  This impacts On Demand feature only.  TV otherwise OK. No problem with Internet connection or phone.

It could be the boxes and the OEM outside. We had issues with internet and pixalting on HD channels and on demand.

We had everything changed right before the stop work order in march.

Have not had a issue since and like the FIOS one.
